Attention Folding@Home Team.

It seems we have a few general discussion threads going for F@H. What's happening is members are posting problems they may have in sereval different locations while looking for a solution. This makes it difficult to reference steps that have already been suggested or taken and harder to troubleshoot the problem.

If you are having issues with F@H, please start a new thread.

List the nature of your problem, your OS, the F@H client in use, and any error you are getting, along with your current log if you are getting an error.

Thanks for your consideration and Happy Folding.

AND things run a lot smoother in the future, it would be best if kept here. I think this should be a closed topic named: "Folding@Home Problems? Read this first!"

Re: Attention Folding@Home Team.

I to think it should be stickied and a topic name of something like tech said,,,,,,
@ matt, if you would be so kind as to write something up the way you would like it I will contact mimmo for permission then sticky it.

If you want it just the way it is thats fine and I will edit the topic to what ever you like

Re: Attention Folding@Home Team.

OK Doby, I'll type something a little more detailed in word and PM it to you. (or should I just post it here or create a new thread?) Once it's submitted feel free to edit it as you see fit.

I'll include directions on finding the log file and how to attach it to the post.

I won't be able to do it until tomorrow night however. It's getting late and I have some errands to run before work tomorrow.

Re: Attention Folding@Home Team.

Great Idea guys, I know I'm one of the offenders myself. If it looks more organized then others will come to TSF with their Folding@Home problems.

Re: Attention Folding@Home Team.

I think it may be a little better to have to folders in a way, like one just to talk and then another to have just problems. I just feel that this would give better results to problems just incase they may get lost in the rest of F@H topics. Just a thought though
