Post Your Folding@Home Rig Details

I have been interested in seeing what kind of rig(s) people are running FAH on. Post your basic rig details so we can compare.

I am running two. Here they are:

Desktop #1
Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 2.33GHz 4M L2 cache LGA775
NVIDIA nForce 650i Chipset, 1GB Dual Channel DDR2
Running about 18 hours per day

Laptop #1
Mobile AMD Sempron 3000+ 1.8GHz 128k L2 cache skt 754
SiS Mobile M760 Chipset, 2GB Single Channel DDR
Running 24 hours per day with little interruption

I am planning on seeing if I can get two threads of FAH to run at the same time but have them be different calculations so I can stop one but not the other if necessary (if anyone has any info on that it would be appreciated).

Re: Post Your Folding@Home Rig Details

Rig 1 (This is my main rig)
Asus A8N Sli deluxe, FX60, 2gb DDR400
Running 24/7, SMP Client on VMware and Ubuntu 64bit

Rig 2 (Dedicated Folding rig)
Epox NF4 chipset, A64 4400+ @ 2.6, 1gb DDR400
Running 24/7, SMP client on VMware & Unbuntu 64bit

Matt here's a little info on running multiple clients.
http://fahwiki.net/index.php/FAH_&_S...ltiple_Clients

You'll have to run a GUI and a Console client, or two console clients.

Re: Post Your Folding@Home Rig Details

I'm running graphical client 5.03, 24/7 at 100% on the rig in My System.
Not very quick but seems stable enough for an old computer.

The WUs allocated to PS3 are designed to finish in under 8 hrs, so you can complete a WU overnight and carry on playing in the morning.

Can you spare one? I've only got the one and that won't run F@H properly.

Thanks, that worked out great. I am running on both cores now.
