Setting up on Linux

Hi guys,

Could anyone please walk me through setting this up on Linux, I am really big noob when it comes to installing things on Linux

I can't offer any help, but when I tried to get the client last night to run on my Ubuntu rig it was available as an EXE for the non 64-bit version. The 64-bit/SMP version was a tarball. WTFOMGLOL?

HI Alex and EB,

I'm a Linux noob also but I got it installed running with the Finstall and the help of the FaHWiki.

I think I'm going back to Windows on my Folding Rig. It was running a 500+ point WU and sat at 3.63% for will over 24hrs, so I stopped the client and restarted it again. Instead of running the same WU it went and got another one. The Windows client would've picked up at the last save point.

Wow... Talk about complicated. I've got 3 more Windows boxes and a Mac running it so I think I'm ok.

Got it running under PCLinuxOS now.

It's actually very simple! I followed the instructions in the FAHWiki and got it going in about a minute.
