"Adopt-a-Rig" program

Would anyone be interested in doing an adopt a rig program? Basically what it would be is people would donate hardware to a host. The host then can build the computer and have it soley run a distributed computing project.

Are you asking for people to donate a peice of hardware to a host so they can build a computer?

Please could you elaborate on host?

It really depends on what kind of hardware and how new/old. For example, I don't have a shining new Core 2 Duo to donate, but I do have various PCI NICs lying around (as well as other expansion cards and various cables and accessories) that are in good condition that I would be happy to donate.

I've got tons of video cards and NICs that I can pair up with various boards to create computation systems. Just no place to keep them all...

Hey i have many parts lying around never used but what do we get in return?

I mean I was thinking of selling them soon ya know an also what if something messes up and all who pays, repairs and so on or is it completely lost? Itll cost the build of another c'puter to send em over to states from here though....
