Re: Current Teams

LOL. By cheating. Seriously, I still haven't completed a WU, but every time one crashes I get credited with it. Very few points though.

Re: Current Teams

Elf, what cpu do you have in it?

I installed it on a machine with a celeron 455mhz, it ran and folded fine but after about 2 weeks on 24/7 it only completed about 75% so I gave up and shut it down, figuared it was not worth the electicity

Re: Current Teams

I have 2 machines running one 1ghz and a 2.2ghz. The 2.2 runs 4x faster but could be smaller folds. may be the opposite on next core

Re: Current Teams

My folding setup is now:
A home brew Quad Core qx6800 @ 2.93 Ghz & 4Gb DDR 800 ram
A Toshiba Qosmio laptop Centrino Pentuim M @1.73Ghz & 1Gb ram
And I have just resurrected a P2 Laptop, invested in a USB wifi stick and now pressed it into folding as well. This ancient beast only sports 128Kb ram and is so slow.... I have just ordered another whopping 128kb to double its memory in hopes that it will fold a WU quicker than than the 32 days it is struggling to do over the last 2 days!

Hey-ho - its the way to go...

Re: Current Teams

Would be higher if F@H hadn't lost my last completed WU. It shows up on my logfile as completed and sent successfully and it shows on my display 4 WU completed but not on the stats. (80hrs @100% CPU wasted. Would have been about 340 points)
Been told 'their server probably screwed up, it happens from time to time'.
My current WU is assigned to the same server. Hope it doesn't screw up again.
