i been in the team for a few months now and just recently put f@h on my lappy and also got it for my PS3(which i haven't turned on for about a year...seriously). hoping to make it up higher in the ranks.

Hey, I've downloaded the client, installed it, set my username and the team name, and have it running in the background. Thing is, I don't know if it's actually working. My GPU usage will show up as 100%, spiking down to 30-70% for a millisecond, then back up to 100%. But if I leave it alone for a minute, GPU usage drops to 0% with occasional spikes to ~5-20%. The protein thing also stops rotating. If I move my mouse over it it starts working again. I also don't know if it's received a work unit, or if it's just displaying this molecule. My name doesn't show up in the team list either. :|

I don't know about you guys but I got my Windows 7 task bar with a quick launch to start F@H. Its nice to have a shortcut that doesn't take up so much room.

I just dragged a F@H-shortcut to the 'Startup' folder on the 'All Programs' entry - it boots with Windows now

I'm wondering if the GPU client runs better in 7 due to the WDDM system allowing all the extra stream processors to work. I think I'm getting more performance in 7 and may need to upgrade my wife's PC to 7 as well. She's got a 4870 in there!
