A long shot but maybe worth a quick test... Have you done Checksum tests on the machine? You can get a good one from here: www.irnis.net Long story - wont go into all of it ... But… On a previous machine from Mesh I had no end of problems. After every 2 months or so, OS (XPsp2) was corrupting & had to 'Format C' routine etc Mesh replaced 2 HDs twice, Sata cables 4 times. Everything bar the mobo, psu, video & sound card had been replaced. Even though I paid for 3 years onsite, I lost the machine for a total of 15ish weeks back to Mesh I was also loosing data because of corruption in files after copying them... Eventually I installed Acronis 9 Backup to save me having the hassle of reinstalling everything after a 'format c' episode. This is when I discovered a very obscure fault. The twin HDs were 2 x 200gb & I was backing C to D. Acronis created and image of C as one huge file (6Gb) and in saved it to D. However, I kept getting a checksum error and the saved file was corrupt…. In trying to investigate this, I went through all the memtests etc that you have done and all was OK. I installed checksum calculator s/w and did some further tests to discover that my machine would copy & paste small files with no problems & checksums OK. BUT it would not copy & paste large files (about 100Mb & above) without corruption. This problem DID NOT show up when comparing the ‘Properties’ via MS RightClick|Properties BUT did show up with the checksum calculator. Net Results: A faulty Mobo from day one… ![]()

Re: Current Teams
Oops. This is a lesson: Don't get your Firefox tabs confused. I have actually done this with IM sometimes.

Re: Current Teams

I think JS has hacked the score page... either that or he has bribed the score keeper - probably the latter!
