Re: Current Teams

Mack, there are couple of third party sites that you can check team and individual stats. They only update every 3hrs, but the stats are more detailed.

Re: Current Teams

My ISP just decided to massively cap my bandwidth allowance so it seems at this time I'm not able to run the program cause I don't have the money for extra bandwidth. Gotta love greedy companies....

Re: Current Teams

It uses very little bandwidth. They send you a small compressed file of about 500kb at the start of each work unit, which takes less than a minute to receive, then after the work is complete it sends the results back. You're probably using more bandwidth just by surfing a few websites, so F@H is a drop in the ocean.

Re: Current Teams

I've been thinking of using F@H, as I've always been a fan of Prime95... Now that I know TSF has a team... I'm going to download it right now!!!

Re: Current Teams

Thanks for the friendly welcome. I've installed and configured it... I noticed that the screen saver option doesn't work... When they make another release that fixes that, I'll set it up to use as much of my resources as possible. I leave my PC on 24/7... So, that'd be at least 12 hours a day, running as well as my PC alows... And don't worry... I'm on the team! Later!

Re: Current Teams

Hi Jules and welcome to team TSF.

You can change teams as much as you want, but you can't carry your exisying points with you from team to team. So everytime you change teams you start at zero points.

(Unless you are returning to an old team and are still using the exact same user name. In that case your you begin adding to your original point total with that team)

You won't show up in the TSF team and stat list until you've completed a workunit.

Hi Jules,
Yes, you can have it now. Give me a few moments.

EDIT: Looks as though I was wrong. I'm sure I've done this before.

Re: Current Teams

I also tried to add a banner for you yesterday, but got the same result as John.

It looks like our site admin might need to change your account permissions to allow banners which are usually reserved for people with over 500 posts or team members.

You have done it before John. It was for Adam but, if I remember correctly, he was a TSF Supporter at the time which gave him the same permissions as a TSF Enthusiast.

Re: Current Teams

That must be the reason then Matt. Sorry about that Jules. You will either have to get up to 500 posts or make a contribution to TSF.
