Not great with programming, but looking for a simple solution -
I have some data in excel, mainly dates and deadlines, and what I'm trying to do is have some sort of notification sent via Lotus Notes whenever a deadline is close.
Does anyone know a simple way to go about this? I have pretty limited visual basic, and MySQL knowledge if that helps. Last edited by rman1201; 06-19-2009 at 06:29 AM. |

While I've not done it with Lotus Notes, I know that you can send e-mail from Excel VBA code. You may need to check to see if the e-mail functions use the existing e-mail application on the desktop. If they do by default and you have Notes setup as the default e-mail application, then it should work.
