Web Application
If you're using a 4-tier network architecture with a Web Server, Application Server, and Database Server, on which physical server(s) does the Web Application sit? I know it's a distributed system but the physical application has to be hosted on a physical machine. Does it sit on the Application Server and let the Web Server communicate and run scripts off it? If that's the case, what files/program sit on the Web Server?
I know this is basic but I'm a bit confused. Thanks for the help! |
