Access 2007 Queries
not sure if this is in the correct forum, but ill give it a go.
I am quite a beginner in access btw what I want is this to happen: I click on the query. A box comes up saying 'enter first range' then ok. Another box comes up saying 'enter second range' then ok and it shows me values between the first range and second range. I don't want it to be predefined, but for the user to search when they click on the query ![]() Hope that explains all |

Re: Access 2007 Queries
Hey, where you've written "[between] x and x" you need something like:
Code:
> [Enter First Range] AND < [Enter Second Range] Cheers, Jamey |

Re: Access 2007 Queries
If it doesn't show the image then there's something else going wrong, You could always just add an image to the form, then send it backwards (click the image in the toolbox).

Re: Access 2007 Queries
Okay, then go back to working out why the image doesn't show, are you sure the image exists? is the path full? have you tried encasing the path in quotes(")? etc. =] And are you sure you had the form selected when you were in the properties box?

Re: Access 2007 Queries
Yes; when I go back to form view the image shows and the text boxes also show, but when I go back to design view I cannot select the text boxes and instead the background is selected

Re: Access 2007 Queries
Oh, okay, then shift the image until you're done working on the text boxes, i've had the same problem. It's just Access' shocking design. MSjunk. That's all you can really do.
