Get RTB text using API (VB)

I am trying to grab the text from a RichTextBox using API. I really only need the last line of the text, but can't seem to figure out how in the world to do it.

I already have the handle for the RTB, and could grab the text if it was a normal textbox, but something fails when trying to read the data from an RTB. Anyone know how to do this?

"something fails"... how do you know this? does it cause an error? if so post the error =] if not then post the code =] actually either way the code will help us to help you.

I don't know what kind of problem you're having, be more descriptive.
