transferring programs
hey guys i dont know if this is the right forum to put this question in but anyways, i have some programs that i want to put on my computer once i reformat the hard drive but i dont have the cds for the programs so is it possible to go into the registry or something and burn certain files to a dvd so i can use the program on my new hard drive? thank in advance

probably not, unless they are small utilities which the only thing the installer does is copy/unpack files which still sometimes doesn't work. Your best bet is to find those cd's back.
