I know how to connected to URLs, and extract data from web pages, but how do I post data to a web server?

anyone know?

waaa java well i cannot help you there as i boycott writing code in java. not sure on querys or anything over java but im sure someone else in the www has a clue. see if you can find some java related dataserver or webserver boards ppl on there are usually very helpfull

lol thats nice good to know that thers others out there but yeah LERN PERL !!! lol it crushes queries and server interfaces i dont even know if java has those possibilities (does it ?)

Yea it does, you know it uses classes? There are a load of pre made URL connect packages in the API that you can use.

I have to do it in Java as it's part of my degree...

Yea I wanna make 'better' programs with executables not crappy java class files! lol ( That also require Java to be intalled on the machine in order for them to run! )
