Routers for 640-802

I recently bought Todd Lammles CCNA 640-802 book and to accompany this intead of running sims I would like the hands on of a real router(s). I was looking at http://www.ciscokits.com/cisco-2620xm-router-ccna/ and the http://www.ciscokits.com/cisco-3640-router/ Would I be better off getting one of each, 2 of just one, or what? The 3640 looks like it only comes with 4 NM slots, so that would be more money to spend later but more options with the router too, let's say money is a little tight but ya know you gotta spend a little to get what's needed to learn this material, beats a 3,000 dollar cisco academy at a local college. Would just like other peoples takes on this, or any better route to get the 12.4 , support IPv6 and SDM, and so far these look the best.

Thanks
