Where can I get an XP/Vista CD/DVD for Repair installs?
Ok, in the process of being a beginner computer technician, I have come across the cold fact that I need to have at least one XP and one Vista Install CD in my tools arsenal, so I can do repair installs, fresh installs, etc. for people with boot problems and such. However, I bought all 4 of my current computers OEM, so they did not come with an XP/Vista disc or anything.
I was wondering, is it possible to purchase these discs for a small price? I mean, I don't need a license or anything, just the disc to do repair installs and other stuff. I think I heard somewhere that if you contact your computer manufacturer, they will send you an OS disc, but I am not sure of this.
