How far is too far?
When putting down previous employers on a resumé, how far back should you go? I have recently had an interview with TEKsystems and was told that the standard is to include all jobs going back 10 years on the resumé.
The only problem is I can't remember that far back! I know WHO I worked for, but not really the order and forget about the time periods of what years and for how long. Is it standard to go that far back? And what, if anything, can I do to try and track down the details on all those old jobs I had?

Re: How far is too far?
Usually the standard is the last 3-5 jobs that you had. You could always call the previous employers because they must remember the dates of employment or at least have them on file. The only exception is if the business closed. You could probably leave it empty since your new employer will just dial your previous jobs and ask for the info anyway.

Re: How far is too far?
vladimirb the thing is called a resume. If it contains all of your knowledge, grades, and extra activities as well then its called a CV.
