State registration as a repair tech
I just discovered that in the state of California you're required by law to get a license with the Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair, so I just mailed in my application and fee. It's $165.00 to register - typical for California to tax, tax, tax it's residents to death. (This is the last tax straw. I'll be canceling my S-Corp so I don't have to pay $800 a year in mandatory tax.)
Does anyone know what the fine is for operating a repair business without a license?
