HELP!! I'm a Fort Worth IT Wanna' Be

Is there anyone out there that can give me some ideas about legit IT schools in Fort Worth that can help me in my search for IT knowledge and certs. I am needing to change careers, and since I spend a great deal of my free time buying and repairing older computers, I thought this would be a good fit (doing what I like to do, and getting paid for it). I have a lot to learn, so I need a "Real" tech school that can push my brain without breaking my spirit, and get me in a position to be hirable hopefully by this summer. I need to work towards A+, N+, CCNA, SECURITY+, and CCNP. I think I can find a job with the first four, and will need to add CCNP along the way. The down side is time. I will need schedule flexability so I can keep in step with my time frame.

Your best bet would be to find a Vocational school in the area. A VO-TECH school would probably be the best place to start. If not you can study for your Microsoft cert's on your own and find a place to take the tests.

HERE is a really good place to start.

Good Luck

Grin Re: HELP!! I'm a Fort Worth IT Wanna' Be

Thanks XtabbedoutX, I started my A+ with TechSkills a couple of days ago, so I'm on my way to CCNP. I have high expectations and know it's a long brain busting road, but I've taken that 1st step. I just hope this is a school that can get me where I need to be. All I have to go off of so far is what the school has told me about themselves, so if anyone has experience with this school, feedback would be very welcome.
