I am a computer consultant Looking for other established consultants
I am trying to get into the Maintenance contract and Support contract. But I have no idea what is the range to charge and for what kind of work. I know the Maintenance contract I can get a monthly or quarterly residual income to go and maintain their system every month or quarter. But I wouldn't know how much I should charge. Do I set a per computer fee or estimate how long it will take for each computer. The list of services that I will perform will be up to me, I can handle that.
For the Support contract I don't understand what they are paying for. They are paying a monthly fee for priority service? And then I bill them at the same rate or a special discount rate? I don't know how someone would pay a monthly fee if it didn't get them anything in return. Please help me out. |
