My System

From the Kerio website:
Quote:
Kerio Personal Firewall 4 DOES NOT run on Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000 Server and 2003 Server and 64 bit Versions of Windows.
Also it is NOT free.
It's pretty hard to find a firewall for 95. In fact, the discontinued Sygate free firewall is the only one I know of that runs on Windows 95. When Symantec acquired Sygate it was discontinued, however I like it very much and continue to use it. It is still available for download here

Even R-Firewall, which is free, requires Windows 98 or better. And, I would assume in another couple of months, most software Vendors will not support Windows 98 anymore. Doesn't look like Zone Alarm supports 95 either. Neither of them should anyways. Microsoft doesn't support it anymore and they won't be support 98 after June of this year.

On http://www.oldversion.com/ , you can get old versions of lots of software. They still have old versions of Sygate, Zone alarm and Tiny Personal Firewall. The version of Tiny should work on windows 95. I would think that some of the old versions of Zone Alarm would work as well. Just download them and test them out.

Most products you test function for a month and then they stop. But not the Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall. After 30 days, it shuts down selected features, but will continue to run in 'free' mode".

The Key Point here is that it will not run on Windows 95!
