Help possible virus problems

Hi Guys

I really need some help here, I tried to format my disk which I don’t think was entirely successful. However when windows came back up I enabled windows firewall logged on line to download ad-aware, and various other similar programs I even tried online scan but each time the scan can not finish off as the pc just switches off. It switches off of only when I’m scanning otherwise it’s ok. Any idea’s on why this is and what I could do to fix this would be sincerely appreciated.

Try booting the computer in safe mode by using the F8 or F10 key while the machine is in the pre-liminary stages of start up.(I'm not sure which one it is) Then run your scans to remove what seems to be some kind of malware. Let us know your machine specs. (Processor/OS/RAM) Keep us posted.
