Denying Download of Clips
I have a problem in my Office, wherein I have a server system with Windows 2000 Prof Edition and Windows 98 in my client systems. In my office, the Net Connection should always be on to enable the smooth flow of activities. But some of the employees are downloading Video clips ( mpg,wmv etc) and thus are consuming too much off day-to-day Net Traffic which in turn I am getting a fat bill by the end of the month.
Is there a Freeware download Software/Utility or a Firewall which denies the download of Video clips....compatible with any Browser (totally, when they try to download any clip...that Software should either give out a message 'Access Denied'../ should block the download...something like this ) ... My friend specified me - Cyber Patrol - but it is a trial version. Right now I have Agnitum Firewall on the server system but I dont think there is any option for the above thing. Regards, Sarah Pinto |

If you have a server, you should be able to block specific file types from there. Alternatively, you can fire the offenders, that should reduce network traffic!
