ddos

Hi, guys.
I really hope this is the right board for this thread....

I was wondering what exactly ddos means, how people ddos, and how I can stop it from happening to me. I've had it happen once before, and (dispite my computer retardation) I can't survive without internet :)

Denial of Service. It's when your PC is hit with so many requests that it refuses to work.

This rarely happens to individual users.

I have a router, one person who knows what he does tried to ddos me, he couldnt.
