Windows XP Firewall Log
Hello,
I am using a Linksys WRT54G router as my NAT firewall in conjunction with ZoneAlarm for outbound protection, but the incoming log table on the Linksys router does not produce any data. My understanding is that there was a firmware issue with this linksys model, but I was interested in seeing the dropped packets. As an alternative, I re-enabled the Windows XP Firewall and selected logging for dropped packets only. I'm now getting data in the Windows XP Firewall log, but is this an accurate picture of what's being dropped at the NAT? Thanks! |
