RSA Removal Questions
I am currently tasked with a project to remove an outdated RSA authentication manager server running 5.1.1. We have several hundred users who still use keyfobs to authenticate to roughly 10+ appliances/servers. I am at a bit of a loss as to how to go about removing this.
My primary questions are: 1) Is the RSA server acting as a RADIUS server for the configured servers and/or appliances? (For example: Cisco vpn concentrator) 2) When the RSA server is shut down, will these servers and/or appliances need to point to a new RADIUS server to do authenication to AD? 3) What is the process for making an existing server/appliance stop talking to the RSA server for authentication purposes? I assume this will all depend on the vendor. Any help is much appreciated as I am not familiar with RSA at all and our support contract has expired (which is why it needs to get pulled out ASAP). Thanks in advance! |
