[SOLVED] AdAware problem
I have just developed a problem with my Free version of AdAware. When I try to download the updates it freezes up my computer and says two versions of this process cannot run at the same time. I have tried going into add remove programs to remove and re-install but it refuses to complete the un-install and again freezes up the computer.
I also booted into Safe mode to try and uninstall from there but AdAware was not listed, I also tried revouninstaller but could not find it listed there. My next considered option is to go into regedit and remove it from there. However I have been a member of the forum long enough to know that this could cause more problems. I have run scans and everything has come up clean. I would welcome any advice on this. shipboard. |
