Shared internet connection and Anti virus
Dear Tech Support Forum Crew,
Quick question. I want to run two computers in a small network using usb to usb data bridge in network mode. My terminal PC, is an editing suite, and I need all the memory I can get when running it. Can I rely on my internet connection PC with anti virus, to do the anti virus protection on both computers, or do I have to run anti virus on both pcs? Ideally, I want the traffic to filter through my netgear wgr614 wireless router, through my internet connection PC's anti virus (currently AVG), then through the data bridge cable to provide internet for my PC. I want to avoid running anti virus on my edit terminal. Thanks |

Re: Shared internet connection and Anti virus
You need to run an AV on each machine.

Sounds like a plan.
