Mad as hell. Help!

Very quickly:

1. Pc got infected with spyware/malware through torrent
2. Used a brand new Norton and free spyware terminators to clean up PC
3. it worked but on occasion PC just freezes
4. NOW HERE'S THE BIGGIE - I did a custom Norton and Spyware Terminator (and Ad-aware) scan yesterday. found 12 security threats, including Trojans. They were deleted. Then I was told to restart PC to eliminate all traces of threats.

I have XP and 2 user profiles. Now, when I click on one of the profiles, I momentarily see the desktop; then it says "saving your settings" and I'm sent back to the opening XP screen, where I'm prompted to pick a profile.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

Can you start in safe-mode and scan with the following tools:

1. ComboFix
2. SmetFraud
3. SDfix

After this run Ccleaner and post a HijackThis log back here.

I also use the search and destroy and super antispyware, both together get rid off many malware and trojans, give them a try!
