Need Remote Access Ideas
Situation: Currently using DSL connected to a linksys wireless router with built-in firewall. I need to provide outside access via VPN and SSL to 3-5 people. I do not have the experience to configure a router. I'm looking for a user friendly device to provide VPN and SSL. I'm currently considering the NetGear SSL312. Does anyone have a better idea considering my lack of knowledge in this area.
Thank You |

Re: Need Remote Access Ideas
What's your budget?
What capabilities do you need with your SSL solution? Sonicwall can do most of what people usually want and is priced what I consider to be cheap, but I don't know how much you're willing spend. SSL Explorer is open source and available at no cost (other than the OS you're running it on). It has a package install, but will take some reding to get it up and running. Overall, it's fairly intuitive. There are options for RDP, VNC, SSH etc... |
