Antivirus / Spyware?

Currently I'm using Avast! on my computer right now. I'm wondering if I also need an antispyware program. Does Avast! protect against spyware?

I'm only using Avast! and Windows firewall. Should I use anything else? :D

Re: Antivirus / Spyware?

The newest version of Avast! (4.8) includes anti-virus, anti-spyware and anti-rootkit, so that you do not need to install a new anti-spyware software.

Windows Firewall is not good, I suggest that you should install Comodo Firewall Pro 3.0. It is the most famous firewall in the world.

Re: Antivirus / Spyware?

Actually, the Windows firewall works just fine for most people. If you feel the need for more control for outgoing connections, you can pick from a wide variety of 3rd party firewall products.

Re: Antivirus / Spyware?

If windows firewall is good enough I would consider getting rid of my zone alarm in order to get the computer to boot up quicker.
