TotalSecure2009

Hello all, Here is my problem:

Everytime I enter or 'back from' my D drive/C drive, a warning sign comes up that there is a dangerous virus in my computer and I am asked to download an anti-virus/anti-spyware software called ' Totalsecure 2009'.

When I click on 'No' it goes to site where it shows me fake images of my computer being infected. Now I am sure that this is a counterfeit software, so I will definitely not download it. But I don't know how to get rid of the warning sign. So help please!

I am using windows XP.

Thanks.

Re: TotalSecure2009

actually your computer is infected, by the software company that wants to sell you totalsecure.

follow the steps in the following thread, read closely and follow all instructions. Finally be patient since it will take time for them to get to your post.
