VPN Client

Hi

I want to connect to client network via VPN. I created new connection at My network places with all required info (IP etc) but i could not connect to cleint. Error 800.

But If i install cisco client then i am able to connect with same information.

Can you please tell why it is so. Also what is the difference between two strategies?

Regards
Rajiv

Re: VPN Client

Obviously, the work VPN is compatible with the Cisco client.

Re: VPN Client

But my question is still pending. What if i dont have cisco client installed ? I created a new network connection in my network places. But could not connect through it.

Is having some cisco client mandatory?

Re: VPN Client

It would appear for that specific VPN endpoint that the Cisco client is required. That's based on the limited information I have.

Ask the person that administers the VPN what the requirements are.
