BitDefender 09 problem

My BitDefender seems to randomly "stop working" even though it icon is present. Because fo some odd reason the Windows alert thing pops up saying I have no antivirus and within maybe 5-10 seconds it goes away. I tried reinstalling BitDefender and that doesn't help. I also closed out ANY other application that might combat with BitDefender ( spyware and ect ) and that doesn't help. And I can't find any topics on this because I've searched everywhere, including the BitDefender forums. So I come to the best place I know for help, HERE! ( those forums never help anyways ). So hopefully someone here can assist me

Sounds like a call to their tech support is in order, that's certainly not normal.
