Pop-up problem

Mods please move if in wrong forum.

anyway, my problem is that I keep getting popups from my Internet Explorer browser, even though I use Firefox as my default browser. I even configured IE to work on a proxy server that I know is fake (so I know the 'net doesn't work on it), and yet things still keep popping up. so is it within my computer, or something? any help would be appreciated. thanks.

did you check your Browser setting. pleased check in advanced setting, in there you can block the pop-up

there is no pop-up blocking setting...

anyway, like i said, i purposely made that browser to be unable to use the internet, so maybe it's from within my system?

what is the browser your using? did you try to use deferent browser to surfing web? check your browser status.

I provided all of that info above. the only thing i didn't mention was that it's IE6.

did you try firefox??? try firefox, it support to prevent pop-up. i think the error in your browser.
