securing belkin 4 port wireless router
i am new to networking and broadband so please forgive me if i ask anything blatantly stupid/obvious.
i am using an acer 3600 windows xp with service pack 3 belkin 4 port wireless the only current firewall is default windows firewall. do i need to install a firewall only onto my acer or do i need to also configure a firewall for my router? the only setting i have configured within the router is the default password. i am new to security and networking so i found the installation cd and router configuration wizard to be quite confusing.
