My System

antivirus for low mem computer

which antivirus program uses the least mem
AV programs really slows down my computer

my computer has 256mb ram

btw are there any low mem firewalls

ESET's NOD32 pretty much hands-down is one of the most effective AV products on the market which uses next to no system resources (only uses ~20MB of memory).

As for a low resource Personal Firewall, something like ZoneAlarm's free version of its firewall is fairly small in resource usage compared to other firewalls.

i'll stick with eset nod32 for AV, but for a firewall, is there any alternative to Zonealarm? I've used Zonealarm and i don't really like it

btw do firewalls slowdown internet connections?
