how to decrypting a file

Hi, I have a program where i could input a series of numbers and it would give me an output file encrypted. I am looking to find the secret key to the encryption. The program only takes numbers and usaully 4 digits long.

I'm sorry but as per our Rules regarding Assistance with Illegal Activities (which includes password cracking), we can not really assist with this matter.

The only thing I can say, if in the case of open source software, is you should check the documentation for the program or contact the program's creator.
