Norton hanging around after uninstall
I have uninstalled Norton but I still have lots of folders with SYMAN... in their name.
I found that live update was still there and a couple of processes were still running. I got rid of what applications I could find using Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel and I have run the Norton Removal Tool from the Norton/symantec site but there are still lots of folders and files still hanging around. This would not necessarily bother me except that I am having trouble scanning from an hp photosmart 2610 all in one when I am an ordinary user and I was wondering whether there are bits of the firewall left over which are being overridden when I am Administrator but which are getting in the way as an ordinary user. Thanks |
