where do i place my firewall for my internet connection using ethernet LAN and what kind of internet security would you recommend i implement for my small company

This is so great to hear!! So many small companies shirk computer security due to cost and then complain when a PC repair bill comes in.

A security recommendation is impossible without really knowing how much is in your budget for systems security.

Back to the question:
1. Where do I place my firewall?
Firewalls are usually placed on the WAN but can be anywhere you want.
ROUTER
||
FIREWALL
||
NETWORK

2. What kind of internet security would you recommend I implement for my small company?
I am assuming this means antivirus/antispyware. I would just get an antivirus client, forefront, nod32, sophos, whatever, it will do its job. Don't underestimate user education.
