connection issue

I play an online game but im having some firewall issues with it. For some reason whenever I have my firewall installed on my PC (doesn't matter if its active or not) the game will not connect. But as soon as I uninstall it the game works fine and will connect. Im sure its just a firewall setting problem but I can't figure it out. Can anyone help? My firewall is Zonealarm.

Try a different firewall.

Re: connection issue

Perhaps the game requires ports to be forwarded? Did you check the game site and it's requirements? Most of them will have a setup FAQ that explains how to use them with a firewall.
