Evil Firewall Problem

I have a problem with hijackers, every five minutes my antivirus (Kaspersky) detects a file, it's the same file again and again...

I think someone is trying to penetrate to my PC so I need a firewall, and that where the problem is.
You see, I have 2 PCs in home, one a Desktop that I use, and the other, a Laptop that my brother use. I have a single internet connection that I share it with the Laptop using a wireless connection

(Internet coming directly to the desktop and then shared to the laptop via a wireless network)

I only use windows firewall, because if I use anything else (like Kaspersky internet security including firewall, Norton firewall, Mcafee firewall, Zone Alarm firewall, etc...) they block the wireless connection between the Desktop and the laptop, EVEN IF I PUT THE WIRELESS NETWORK IN THE TRUSTED ZONE

it's not working, every time I put a new firewall software, the Laptop do not receive any internet connection, so the firewall blocks the Network between the 2 PCs

is there any solutions to bypass this??? I'm getting frustrated by these attacks

Sorry for the Novel I wrote

Any help will be appreciated

Re: Firewall Problem

First off, if you have the Windows firewall or a standard SOHO router, you are not getting attacks directly from the outside, because either is very effective at blocking incoming attacks.

You have something already on your machine that is the issue.

Please follow the instructions here (5 pages) and then post all the requested logs in a new thread here for the security analysts to look at. If you have any trouble running any of the scans, leave them and move onto the next.

The security forum is always busy, so please be patient and you will receive a reply as soon as possible. If you go to Thread Tools > Subscribe at the top of your new thread you will receive an email as soon as a reply is posted.

Re: Firewall Problem

When I try to load ActiveScan it writes this:

"Sorry, loading is incomplete due to an error. Please try again."

Re: Firewall Problem

I'd ask in the security forums, this is really a networking oriented section of the board.

Hi,

Problem is related to Virus or Malware not related to hijacking or Attacks. Please scan your computer in safemode with Mcafee Antivirus 8.5 with latest updates.
