DeepFreeze Woes.
Just installed DeepFreeze on about 10 machines, and everything went pretty good, except for one of them. For some reason, after the first restart, right after the install, deepfreeze tries to load the Choose a password window and borks, App doesnt respond.
Obviously, my options are very limited here. Is there any known solution to fix a borked DeepFreeze install (6)? Or im i stuck to re-format? |

Re: DeepFreeze Woes.
Ouch. Unfortunately the only way to properly uninstall DeepFreeze is to "unfreeze" the machine, which by the looks of things you can't quite do. If you are unable to unfreeze the machine so as to properly uninstall, you may have to reformat.
If it is any consolation, borked DeepFreeze installations don't happen very often. By the way, in case you were not already informed and were interested in alternatives, Microsoft has released its version of DeepFreeze known as Windows SteadyState, which is available for free for genuine Windows XP machines. |
