Spam Emails..
I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but it's the closest one I could see.
I'm being sent emails with sexual references, and I'm not sure why. Here is an example of the email: ![]() Words have been blocked out for obvious reasons. The Email isn't mine, which is the weird thing. Does anyone know how to stop this? Thanks. |

Re: Spam Emails..
It's just SPAM, there's nothing you can do except filter them or stop receiving email.

Re: Spam Emails..
Looks like you are using Hotmail. You should enable the Junk Mail filter, which can be accessed by going to Options located just below the Logout button near the upper-right corner of the page.
The Junk Mail filter doesn't catch everything, so if you do get spam in your inbox, press the Junk button in the upper navbar inside the e-mail. This will automatically throw the message into the Junk folder and submit a sample to the developers to help better refine the filtering. Last edited by Cellus : 02-20-2008 at 03:17 PM. |

Re: Spam Emails..
unfortunately theres really not much you can do if they are slipping by your filters. just report the emails as spam/junk.
If this is an hotmail account, it has one of the worse email filters out there. I have an hotmail account and had to quit using it because of spam. One thing that helps me is I also have a gmail account and yahoo account. Both have great filters. I will give out the gmail address and have all mail forward from gmail to yahoo so I get next to nothing when it comes to spam in my yahoo account.
