[SOLVED] Help!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to know if its very easy for someone to gain access to my wireless network, even though i have it password secured?
The reason I ask is because, I've noticed that the wireless icon on my wireless router is always on (blinking) even if my wife is not connected to the wireless network from her laptop computer. Is this light supposed to be on/blinking all the time? And how can i monitor my wireless network to see if someone has tapped into my wireless network or trying to steal my internet signal? |

Re: Help!!!!!!!!!!!
First off, if you have it encrypted with WPA and a strong random key, I'll say for 99.9999% certainty that nobody is tapping in. If you use WEP, it's easily broken with common tools readily available on the Internet.
In the router's status pages, you can see all the connections to the router. FWIW, the wireless signal could simply be the SSID beacon being broadcast.
