Wifi
Hello
I have bought a WiFi dongle for my laptop to use at my girlfriends house for her network. I took it home yesterday and my Wifi picked up other connections. I tried one whichi needed a password so i left it alone. But the other one allowed me to connect to the internet. Is this illegal for me to use there internet as they had no passwords to breake. Even if i could i wouldn't. I am no hacker, just wanted to know if i am breaking the law if i do. I am in the UK by the way. |

Re: Wifi
Yes it is (I think) because essentially what it comes down to is a form of stealing. It's like someone leaves their house door open, you could go in it and nick their stuff but you wouldn't, it's the same, in my opinion, connecting to an unprotected connection.
