Port and Firewall issues
As of 10-08-2007 and an obnoxious battle with trying to remove norton anti-virus from my computer I've come upon a very irksome conundrum. It would seem that the pseudo firewall that program put into place has blocked all of the ports used by the instant messengers, the primaries being Yahoo instant messenger, MSN instant messenger, and AIM instant messenger. I would like to know how to restore the default settings on these ports so I can use my programs without this level of hassle.
As far as relevant information is concerned I am using Windows XP professional and my primary web browser is Mozilla Firefox. Thank you for your time Desert |
