Pin Firewall VPN

Hi,

i have two D-link VPN Firewall DFL-300 which has a inbuld feature of PPTP VPN client and Server.one Firewall is configured in remote office Netwrok and other in my own network. now when i am connecting remote VPN firewall through VPN connection from my workstation, i can connect the remote network and can access remote machine with private IP but simultaniously i can not access internet on my workstation.
i checked default gateway for VPN connection, it is same as IP provided by remote VPN Server.
if i change it i no longer access Remote machine in VPN.

Can anyone help me to get internet connected while working on VPN connection.

Re: Firewall VPN

That's normal operation for a VPN. Think about the implications of having Internet access while you have a direct pipeline to the secured network you're trying to protect by accessing it using a VPN.
