Can trojan horses travel across by wireless transmission?
My brother has downloaded a trojan horse which he is having some problems getting rid of. I'm linked to the modem on his computer via wireless. So I'm concerned if this trojan horse can infect my computer by "traveling wirelessly" across? What about my shared folders on his computer? Can I be infected with this if I try to access his files in our shared folder?

Re: Can trojan horses travel across by wireless transmission?
Yea you can be infected, I would suggest that your brother follow the 5 steps of virus removal and then posts a log.
5 steps: (Updated!) IMPORTANT - Read This Before Posting A Log You need to post your logs Here (Click on the link) in the HijackThis Log Help. The HJT section has been very busy lately. So please be patient and you will get help. |

Re: Can trojan horses travel across by wireless transmission?
Anything that goes across a wire will travel just as easily in a wireless network.
