Re: Best Anti Virus

I have to agree and disagree with SpySentinel I personally think that Avira Antivir is great I use it at home and would recommend it to everyone. But there is no 'Best antivirus', No antivirus program is 100% perfect. Just remember you should only ever have One antivirus on your system

If I was you I would use Antivir it is great.

Re: Best Anti Virus

I use Norton AV 2006. I've always been happy with Norton as it blocks Worm attacks as well and acts as a firewall. The 2006 version does anyway....not the older versions. The 2007 version looked to be too much so I declined the upgrade on that. I might be using Kaspersky Antivirus next year.

Re: Best Anti Virus

The thing that I dont like about Norton, is the amount of resorces it uses, it makes your system go slow.

Re: Best Anti Virus

I agree with GO THE POWER. There isn't one thats 100%. You can go to a site download.com and put in antivirus for a list of some that you can download. I have ATT dsl so I have the free one that they supply. So far its working pretty good for me. I don't trust Norton. I also work for DSL tech support and I get a lot of calls about Norton not functioning correctly.
